I need to add fluid to my Kubota BX2350 front axle. The only conveniently located dealer is JD-only, where I can obviously get their Hy-Gard product. Does anyone know if these two products are interchangeable? The JD site says that the Hy-Gard oil meets the Kubota service ratings for UDT and SUDT.

I use JD hy-gard in my Kubota 3710 gst. My local kubota place said no problem even when under warranty. I use the JD fluid because I use similar tools with my jd 5300 and didn't want to mix different oils and I don't have to have 2 different kinds of buckets or oils sitting around. I use Mobil delvac engine oil in all diesel tractors.

By the way, are you sure the front axle uses UDT? I beleive my Kubota 3710 uses a heavier grade of of oil in the front axle. Yours may be different than mine.

Thanks for the info. Yes, my front axle uses UDT/SUDT, which was surprising to me too.
