kubota tractor scams?

Anyone see some fishy tractors out there?
I have seen 2 that I think are scams.
They are craigs listed and they reply w/o using my name(provided) and are generally vague.
One guy was a "GI" sequestered prior being shipped out w/ a spanking Kubota w/ a FEL and bush hog for 2700....DELIVERED... oh yea.
well anyway...is this a regular thing you guys see? thanks

Any equipment that they want to deliver is a SCAM.

Yes, it goes on all over the country. There have been several threads posted here about it. They are easy to spot, most noticeably the low price and an email address in the listing with someone's name in it, like sue@hotmail.com or similar. Just flag them when you see them.

If it sounds too good to be true......yada yada...

Just flag them as spam and go on with life. There seems to be no way to prevent their daily appearance on CL.

What we tend to do here on TBN is not to post links to them. There's no point in giving them more attention.

I remember one for a skidsteer. You could tell the scammer had no idea what it was as he had put down will ship with FEDEX second day. He had used a picture from someone else and didn't take the time to remove the date at the bottom, a date that was 2 years before the year of the SS in the ad.

A fool and his money are easily parted. Sooner or later these ads will not get anyone and die off.
