I have a Kubota B-5100,and a small Gravley shaft drive Tiller.I can modify the tiller too 3PTH with no problem,But should I weld a slip clutch on the shaft to protect my PTO from getting damaged. If I jam a rock in the tiller could this hurt the internal PTO drive? Thanks

I wouldn't weld it, but if you can bolt a slip clutch on that would be best.

What if you went to TSC and bought a spline adaptor. Male side matching your tractor. And slide the female end over the gravely square shaft and welded that? Then you could just couple the slip clutch to the tiller. Etc, Etc. That way the slip clutch could possibly be used on other attachments also?? Just a thought.
