Kubota Timframe to Recieve

Does anyone know the approximate timeframe to recieve a new tractor. I ordered a B3200 with FEL, BH, and Rear Tiller 3 weeks ago. Being told by dealer another 2 weeks for it to come in. Originally said 2 weeks. Is it normal to wait 5 to 6 weeks for kubotas.

I placed order for mine on Wednesday at lunch and picked it up Thursday morning. Of course that was new in stock sitting on lot. Where is it coming from? Philip.

Im in Buffalo NY and dealer ordered it so it has to come from warehouse as he had none in stock on the yard.

Bought my B3200 last August from a dealer here in Canada. He did not have one on the lot but test drove one he had in for service on the Saturday. Was also looking at the smaller B series as well. Received a great quote on the Monday, signed and paid my deposit, and the dealer said I would have to wait for it to be delivered from the warehouse and be set up. He told me it could be a couple of weeks and he would let me know.

He let me know a couple of days later that he had sorted out delivery from the warehouse and that it would be delivered the middle of the following week and so it arrived on the Tuesday. Great service and communication and pretty low key all the way.

Mine has FEL, 64" rear Snowblower, 60" box blade that all came with it on the truck.

So my wait time was under 2 weeks (8 days) for a machine that was not on the lot.

If we were to assume its coming from Georgia..... I suspect the dealer would want to have a few tractors on the truck to make it more cost effective.

I am in WNY too and about to take delivery of a L5740 from Alexander Equipment. Took three weeks to come from warehouse in Ohio. Being preped this week.

Ask your dealer to do a dealer trade with Southern Tier Trailer in Gerry, NY. Dale has six or seven of them on the lot.

Im not sure where warehouse is, and I was quoted two weeks for delivery 3 weeks ago. My response from the dealer is below:


I apologize Terry, But I tell you what they tell me. At the time you
were here and when I ordered that is what it was. Something must
have changed, and I have no control over things like that. They do go
in the order that they are rec壇. I don稚 have any control over their stock
levels and I have complained that they should at least show us inventory
levels so we can be a little more accurate on items that we do not have.

I know they can do dealer trades. I "ordered" a L3940 and the dealer sent the salesman out with a truck and trailer to pick it up from another dealer that afternoon. if you feel your getting the run around, call Dale at Southern Tier Trailer in Gerry, NY (only about an hour drive for you) and see if you can make a deal with him, cancel the deal with your local dealer.

Probably the best scenario is to ask your dealer to go get it from Dale though.....

I don't know how upset I could be with him. The message you posted from the dealer reads pretty honest and contrite. Spring time is the highest sales of the year for every tractor dealer which makes the demand on the warehouse pretty intense. Product moves really fast and can be difficult to get. I know how eager you must be to get your machine. I'm waiting for mine too. I'm thinking there are a lot of guys in our shoes right now. Bottom line to me is good communication from my dealer on the status of my machine. I trust my dealer. He has been fantastic to do business with. Hope your guy is just as good to you. Until we get our machines we'll just have to keep dreaming of seat time. Hope it comes soon!

If he's in Buffalo, it comes from Columbus, Ohio, not Georgia..... or from another dealer, if another dealer has the unit in stock. Dealers trade machines all the time.

Kubota will ship smaller units common carrier. The only time it's dedicated truck is on larger units like the M series.

Finally, if the dealer has his own truck (most do) they will go pick up a unit from another dealer, if another dealer has one in stock.

The timeline all depends how much you want to pay for freight.

it is a bit odd though, thats common stuff and you would think they would just transfer it.

I should have ordered from Barlows. Gave the dealer 7500 dollars as a down payment too figuring it would speed things up.

So I am hearing. Emailed Alexander Equipment for a price to see if they can match or beat and thinking of cancelling my order and going elsewhere.

I find it's defiantly worth the trip to drive out there. Great people.

I've also had good experiences at the Kubota dealerships in Springville & Lockport

wife and i areooking to go up saturday to check them out. Good trip for us to get away from kid for a while..lol
