my RTV 900 is my "no get stuck machine" it goes where my other equipment will not. agree with all other write ups above...
I have never gotten my RTV 900 stuck in the mud but around here, there is normally a hardpan about 8" down so it just bogs on thru most spots with the ATV tire treads on it. I use it for hauling dirt, rocks, wood, tree branches etc and the hydraulic dump bed is awesome. I have had the bed rounded up with rocks and dirt and it never fails to dump with the engine on idle.
I would suggest a glass windshield (rather than the Plexiglas which scratches easily), a roof (I like the plastic as it doesn't bend or rust) a front winch and of course front and rear bumpers (I don't know it those are standard or not). With the glass windshield you can also have windshield wipers installed. That and turn signals would make it road legal in most places.
How does it do on steep hills like mine? I'm looking at a 2006 RTV with 1200 hours, camo job and hydraulic dump bed, they want $7900 for it. Comments?
It'll do it no problem. Up and down or cross ways.
Alright, I'm holding you to it!
