Kubota RTV 1140 cpx

Trying to diagnose kubota why it doesn稚 move forward and reverse in 2 wd but it moves in 4wd need help if anyone has had this problem before thanks.

my buddy had same problem and both the back hubs were stripped out.its a common problem on them from what we were told

I have a RTV1140 that I've owned for 8 years with zero issues other than learning how to depress brake pedal to shift gears, apply emergency brake and hand pressure on lever from 2 to 4wd till it just slides in or do it stopped. I've been a member on this forum for about 12 years and never heard of this issue personally or here on this Kubota forum.

If problem isn't stripped rear hub then I'll guess broken rear axle or spider gears/shafts in rear differential.

Yup^^
The rear hubs on X900, X1120 and X1140 are the same and I have not seen a stripped hub yet. The rear hub recall pertained to a material change in the hub housing.
