Kubota-RPMs Dropping, PTO

When I am mowing and I set the tachometer for my PTO mower in PTO range, the knob will barely slide and reduce the RPMs. I have to hold knob steady in order for the RPMs to stay. I don't think it's an engine issue as everything seems fine and I've only used the tractor for 30 hours. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's a 2017 Kubota BX23S.

I do believe that others have commented on similar issues with Kubotas and/or other brands, and if it's like my Mahindra, there is a friction adjustment to keep the lever from moving on its own. It may be below the dash panel.
