Price Check Kubota pricing web page

I've collected up list prices of Kubota B-Series tractors, mowers, and FELs and put them on a single web page . It almost killed me, but I also figured out how to total up prices on the page. You can click on whatever you want, and you'll see the total at the bottom of the page.

I've also added my own opinion about what would be a good price and what would be a great price on these products. Please let me know if the page works on your browser or if I've made any mistakes in list prices or product descriptions.

Ouch!

I just agreed to pay $12,500 for BX2200, 60" mower, FEL and grill guard (delivered) - I would have liked paid your "great price", roughly $1,000 less!

Is my price "good" for New England, or did I just get snookered?

JudeK - I've seen a lot of comments about prices being higher in the northeast. I'm not sure why this should be the case. I'm closer to Kubota's distribution center in Georgia than you are to their distribution center in Ohio, but I wouldn't think this would add a lot to the price. You can definitely find prices between the good and great prices I mentioned from excellent dealers, like Carver, in the south.

If you want to buy from a local dealer, you shouldn't expect them to match the best price paid anywhere in the country, but rather match or beat the lowest price in your area. If it's a really great dealer that you want to deal with, you might even pay something in the middle of the three or more quotes from local dealers. You should always have at least three local dealers quote on the same package to know that the price you are paying is fair for your area. As with cars or any other item, the market you are in can affect the price quite a bit. I covered this issue a fair bit in Compact Tractor Buying & Basics...
