Kubota Orange Paint?

Yes, both my dealers have it, old and new orange. I think it was $10 for a can

TSC has it for $5.49/can.

Tractor supply, has it, just be sure to get the correct one, there are 2, old kubota, and new kubota orange. they do not have the Dark gray, and none of the other grays they have even come close.. I wound up going to the dealer for an $11 can for that, but use the Van Sickel for the orange. Of course assuming your Kubota uses the Dark Gray, the older ones used a more blue color for the lower contrasting color. I have seen some say the Autumn Crush Valspar I think, at Lowes is a pretty good match. I havent tried it.

Valspar makes a color that is about a good a match as you are going to get.
"Allis Chalmers Orange"....... Its availible at TSC.I like it alot better than genuine Kubota paint,and it actually shines plus its much cheaper.
You can get it in rattle can or by the quart or gallon.I'm not stretching the truth,this stuff matches better than genuine Kubota.Try a can before you spend big $$$ on genuine stuff.

I'm afraid I don't know the difference between the new and the old Kubota Orange. Does the Valspar match one better than the other?

In my previous attempts to match paints (JD green) it turned out that the color match after a month or two didn't bear much relationship to the color match as the paints aged. Here in the mountains we have a lot of ultra violet radiation in the sunlight.... Even JD's rattle cans of their own green paint has a distinctive blue tint after a year in the open air. The factory baked-on paint in the same conditions seem to be a bit lighter shade of green...more yellow in it.

Which Kubota orange does it match,. New or Old? there is quite a difference in them. the New orange is quite a bit "brighter" and less yellow. I dont know when they changed, but my 2010 L3400HST is "new" kubota orange.

I would guess new as I use it on my 2008 B2320!:thumbsup:

the Valspar Allis Chalmers Orange I got at TSC matches my 2007 Kubota B26.
So I would say its the "new" orange....Hope this helps.

i just bought 2 rattle cans yesterday orange 2 and rop grey..came to almost $60.

I got a can of Chevrolet Orange paint today and it matches just fine.

The Chevy engine orange purchased at Advanced Auto matched my 99 L2500 which is the new oragne.

The TSC "new kubota orange" was too light for my 2003 BX22. I was using it on the rims. I got a can of the TSC Husquvarnia (Sp?) orange and it's pretty darn close. This was over top of the TSC red tractor primer. I like it enough to consider buying a gallon and spraying the whole rig some winter.:thumbsup:
