There seems to be a lot of data on different motor oils but I haven't found any on the factory Kubota oil. Could someone point me in the correct direction or post the testing? Just would like to know how it stacks up.
Thanks

Motor oil? Your dealer may have some literature. Word is iit may be Valvoline in the 15W40 but who knows? Kubotas Super UDT hydraulic fluid was compared to U?DT and Amsoil synthetic, the Super UDT was the hands down better oil in all categories but Amsoil I understand has done a little work on theirs. I just did my 400 hour change and used all Chevron oil. Delo 15W40 and their All weather hydraulic fluid.

That's because Kubota (and every other tractor, car, motorcycle, etc. manufacturer) doesn't refine their own oil, they buy it re-labeled from an oil company. Per the owners manual, use any good quality oil meeting the API rating and viscosity range specified.

We are a bit colder up here so I switched from factory labelled oil to Amsoil. The engines starts and runs quieter in the cold weather.
