I have a Kubota MX5000 I recently changed the fuel filter. When I opened the fuel filter cock it seemed like the fuel flow was restricted. I filled the bowl with fuel and bleed the line. Seemed alright, ran fine for about ten minutes, then stalled. All of the fuel in the filter had been sucked out. I let it sit for a while. Fuel bowl filled back up, bled the line got back to the shop. Same thing. Where to begin? Is there a screen or water seperator in the tank? Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Michael

Sounds like a fuel line pinched or foreign material in your fuel tank blocking the drain. Take off your fuel line before the filter and blow some air through it. You might need to drain and clean your tank if you have a lot of material in it.

Is the tank venting? Check for good fuel flow from tank to inj pump. I owned a M4900 that had a tiny screen that was plugged in the water seperater filter housing that acted very similar to what you describe.
