I see what you are talking about, but his loader is a LA1002.

The only other relief on the tractor is on the 3pt, so no relief for the loader would be illogical.

The loader that you posted is used on some B models Kubota, and don't know if it is used on the M6800.

Recommend loader for the M6800 is LA1002 or LA1162.

Thanks for these latest clarifications. Do they mean that the Manual was correct for the hoses or do I have them connected correctly now? The issue was never the return hose, only that the pump line hose and power beyond hose were reversed in the Loader Manual.

I will tell you this.

If you have a hyd blk, the pump feeds the hyd blk and from there, it goes to the FEL IN port.

Then, the PB flow from the FEL comes back to the hyd blk and goes downstream for the remotes or BH and 3pt.

sorry for the delay in getting back to you - I took the part number that WEN had posted earlier, the part that is on his machine and that valve does not have an RV in it - checked the parts and schematics. Not sure what else to tell you, it maybe illogical but I am not familiar with the rest of the machine schematic to know where the RV is but there has to be one up stream, but it isnt in this valve.

wen,

Can you take some clear pictures of the loader valve showing where the relief valve is supposed to be.

It will be on the top where the levers connect and located close by the IN port.

If your valve does not have a relief, we need to know where the relief valve is for the loader circuit.

I have seen the hyd block with relief valves and if that is the case, that would work.

The PDF for your loader says it has a relief valve.

Earlier, you said it had a relief, but I haven't seen it.

I only know what the PDF says.

I don't see a relief valve either. I can barely see what looks like a shut off plug.

It is illogical for the loader not to have a relief, and it is really dumb for the dealer to let it go without a relief on the loader.

What that means is that the FEL does not have any protection.

Originally, the pump flow goes to the hyd blk and with no loader, the flow goes to the 3pt.

With loader installed, the loader is connected in series at the hyd blk with the IN hose and the PB hose.

If that is a plug in the relief location, it is an easy fix, to obtain and install a relief valve.

The loader PDF has all the data for the relief valve.

Wen,

Where do you think the relief for the loader is?

When you hear a relief going off, where is the sound coming from?

I don't want you to damage your loader, but,

If you install a gage in the loader IN port using a tee I would be interested as to the pressure, when maxing out the loader cyl.

Do you know if that FEL valve is the only valve that has been installed with that tractor?

Well, here goes another look at this thing! In the first photo, the 1/2 inch metal pump line hose can be seen going to the hydraulics under the seat. The wrench is on the line that is called the pump line in photo schematic 4 and runs to the uppermost input connector on the loader valve (which is again shown with the red dot looking from the front of the tractor to the loader valve (photo 3) (I cleaned the grease off the valve). The hose next to the one with the red band is the return hose and runs to the main hydraulic fluid sump on the rear axle.

The power beyond hose can be seen in photo schematic 4. The remaining hose is presumed to be the power beyond line shown in photo schematic 4 and in photo five is the only hose on the loader valve face that faces the operator. Photo 5 also shows the Pump hose and power beyond hose mis-labeled (reversed). The valve on the left of Photo 1 is the auxiliary hydraulics valve that came on the tractor.

PLEASE READ my convoluted explanation above carefully as there is no hydraulic block on the ROPS version (there is on the CAB version). My TEE gauge is made up with 1/2 inch quick connects and the loader quick connects are 3/8 inch. I have no fittings that allow me to put a tee in the hose with the red band, but I would only expect to see it go up to the main relief valve pressure when a loader cylinder quits moving and they didn't leave any room to work in this area.

I bought the tractor new in 2000 and nothing has been changed.

There are 4 loader variations, which loader so you have? The numbers after the LA1002?

On one of the loaders, I do see a shut off valve in place of where a relief valve would go.

The only relief valve I can find is at the 3pt.
