Hey!
Last week we had to make a trip to Michigan to take care of some family business. The motel we stayed in handed out complementary copies of USA Today ("McPaper") every day. On Wednesday, February 18th, the back of the "C" section had a full page ad from KMA (no, not "Kiss my ..." /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif ).
"30 years of Kubota Enginering. 1500 American workers. One extraordinary result." -- followed by a big picture of the RTV900. Also featured were three other Kubota Manufacturing of America products: the BX23, ZD21, and TG1860.
So, I got to tell my three brothers in law that while their American tractors are made in Japan (JD 770, 790, and 4310), my Japanese tractor is made in America. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif (Actually, I'm not sure about the 4310, but pretty sure that is the case for the 770 and 790.)
What does all this mean? Not a darn thing as far as I can tell, except that all four of us have mighty fine tractors! This was just another excuse to talk more about them. No, we did not have an Orange v. Green war!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
