@Texasmark So whats your question? What are you using the tractor for? Can you provide more details on the machine your looking at?
@5030 has two and might be able to answer any questions.
The Kubota M9000 is a good reliable simple tractor. They are light weight, with the 2wd cab at 5900 lbs, 4wd cab at 6200 lbs. This makes them great hay, planting, spraying, multi purpose tractors. The con is that they are not great at heavy tillage, or moving heavy equipment on hills.
The M9000 is intercooled turbo charged with 80 pto horsepower with a wet independent pto. Most were only equipped with a 540 pto, and the 540/1000 pto option is uncommon. They have a 12/12 transmission that is synchronized, some units have a hydraulic shuttle (utility specials are a manual shuttle). It has a 17 gpm hydraulic pump.
One of the unique feature of the M9000 is that it has a locking front differential. There are two pedals in the cab, one activates the rear differential lock, the other locks front and rear differential.
I have spent a fair bit of time with a
M6800 (the smaller brother) and a
M108 (next generation). The M8200 is the same as the M9000 but without an intercooler and produces 73 hp. The M9000 are good simple reliable machines. I have been looking for a good deal on a Kubota M8200 /M9000 or a Case IH 885, 895, 985, 995 as I like light simple tractors for haying.
