Many pto driven implements are meant to be used while there is no operator in the seat like woodsplitters, generators, winches, augers, elevators, and blowers. There HAS to be a dependable way to keep the tractor from rolling other than using a rock or log that might be laying nearby.

I believe that no larger tractors have that. And it would be interesting to hear from JD why they decided it acceptible for smaller tractors and not bigger ones. If my 6200 had that, it would be the first thing to go. I often stand up while performing various tasks.

I suggest calling the dealer to make them aware of your incident. Maybe they can suggest something useful instead of pointing fingers at you.

Larger field tractors definitely have remote 3pt control switches on the rear of the tractor for use in attaching implements. Using these would necessitate the tractor to be running. Never heard of the forward/backward tractor controls though.

Actually the JD 110 has a F/B creep control on the fender. A very slick feature, although I don't own one.

At the very least, the dealer needs to be contacted and informed.
