Hello All,

I went today and looked at a Kubota M6800, im not sure of year and am wondering if I contact a Kubota dealer with serial number if they can tell me? I am about too pull the trigger on this one it has a Woods 1027 Loader with QA, brand new skid loader bucket, 1 rear remote, rear wheel weights, new front tires, rears are 50%, only 1800 hours, sheet metal in good shape, id be doing a total re-paint anyhow, tractor runs like a new one and strong hydraulics, dealer wheeled and dealed and we came to $16,500 for it, I have to let him know Monday so what do you all think? Anyone who owns one of these machines tell me your thoughts:thumbsup:

That's a lot of tractor for the money. For a little bit more money, you could buy a brand new L2501. Or you could get the M6800, which could just about lift the L on it's 3 point hitch.

If you have a use for a big machine like that, the price seems very reasonable to me.

Seems like a very good price. Pictures?

If you want the tractor get it. 1800 hours is barely broken in. That is a fair price.

Sounds about right for price.

any idea of maintenance history? leaks? noticeable smoke @ operating temps? that model & the M9000 series are a rugged machine in the older line. as mentioned, plenty of life left if well taken care of. best of luck

The year really isn't important on a tractor and I don't think many (most?) manufacturers even have one, or it's simply the year the tractor was put in service. Yes, I would think the dealer could look up the serial number and tell you that if it's that important.

I would be way more concerned with condition.
