On page 57 of the Operators Manual it discusses which Engine Oil to use based on whether you use Low-Sulfur, or High-Sulfur Fuel, but fails to give any specifications for what they consider Low or High sulfur fuel.

My question is does anyone know what Kubota's definition is for "Low-Sulfur, and High-Sulfur" diesel fuel?

Based on my understanding, there are 3 kinds of diesel fuel.

Ultra-Low Sulfur (15ppm max)

Low Sulfur (500ppm max)

High Sulfur (>500ppm)

Thanks.

I think most manufacturers consider 500ppm and above high sulfur. LSD and ULSD would both be low sulfur.
