The M5030 (and all the M30 series models) are now about 18-23 years old. They were made when Kubota was trying to get established in the U.S. Ag tractor market. Even though the initial sales numbers were not large, these machines were beautifully made high-quality units which helped solidify Kubota's position as a premium manufacturer. The only down-side of owning one is that they are few and far between so the "user community" is small. That said, do a search here and there will be some hits.

Had a m5030SU. Bought it new. A really solid tractor. Sold it to a neighbor and he loves it. I was looking for a little more pto h.p. and bought a 7040. In 1300 hrs. I had to have the starter rebuilt. Nothing else. If I had it to do over, I would have kept it.
