Hi. I worked with my tractor about 15 mins last week (fired right up, as always), stopped it, turned it off and did some other things. Jumped back on a couple hours later and it wouldn't start. It doesn't turn over far enough to fire. It turns just enough to see the fan move, then stops. Seems like the starter doesn't have enough power to keep it turning.
I had some starter problems last year that I had fixed, so I took it to a different starter repair guy who said that the clutch pack was worn out and fixed it for a little over $100. He said all the electrical components were fine. Put it back on and the same thing happened, so I took the battery off and had it checked. It's good. What should I check next?
Thanks,
Thom
