Kubota M4011 Backhoe instal'n problem

I have a Kubota M5140 tractor that came with the M4011 Backhoe installed. Years ago we detatched it and used the 3 pt. for other attachents. Now we need the Backhoe on again and can't get it to work. There is a bracket on the Right rear of the tractor with 3 holes in it, but we only have 2 hoses. We don't think there ever was a third top hose. Hooking up the two hoses to the backhoe is a one-way deal, male to female only, can't get that wrong. But when we start the engine, the hydraulic controls don't do anything. What could be wrong? We disabled the swing block. The manual for the units don't seem to match what we have, no third hose. We don't have a thumb on the bucket. Ideas?

Make sure the quick disconnect couplers are fully seated and the pins or ball on the end of the fitting is not rusted or damaged. It seems like no pressure is getting to the backhoe.

Chandler: did that several times. No luck. Did find a cable to a valve that seems frozen. Don't know the names of these, but can't move the cable. Disconnected it and tried to move the valve manually, no luck. Still no joy. Cable may not even matter to the backhoe, don't know. I'll probably have to give in and call a service guy out, but the money is pretty scarce right now.

Not sure where it is or if you have a lever to control the Hyd flow, but on some tractors with BH's there is a flow control lever that you need to move for 3PTH use or BH use. It directs the flow to the BH vs the 3PT valve.

Could you remove the hydraulic lines from the backhoe and connect them to the tractor? Leave the open end of the hoses in a bucket to see if you get any flow. Do you hear any change in engine load when you connect the backhoe? Could you post some pictures of the hydraulic piping?
