Kubota LX4020 Already Having Problems

Don't know about the cab, but I've noticed that the HST whine lessens the older I get.
It's much less noticible now.... uh, what's that you said?

I went down to take a look at the new Kubota LX4020 yesterday at my local dealer but it seems that Kubota has screwed up again. As soon as I started the test drive the tractor was stuck in Auto throttle mode and couldn't get out of it. I notified the sales person about it but he couldn't get it resolved. Next thing I know they had all the mechanics out there looking at it. It was kind of funny because they were all making excuses, saying there was nothing wrong with it but nobody could get it to stop 😄

I don't know, it seems as if this line of tractors is just cursed lol.
We have reached a point in the US where you are better off to maintain your old car or tractor forever than to put up with the hassle of all the fragile and buggy systems on new units. (not to mention the absurd cost of buying new) Soon we will look like Cuba with 30 year old cars everywhere you look.

Probably the older models will last longer with less problems so a lot more
road time than garage time

I guess I don’t know what I’m missing. My MX has a mechanical servo hydro pedal, hand throttle, and cruise control engagement lever. All very simple and easy to use. I’ve never felt the need for HST+. Maybe it would be nice, but I’ve always been satisfied with how my tractor is set up.

Doubtful because few people nowadays want to wrench on their vehicles. Maybe change oil and filters, but that’s about it for most people. Most people are happy buying new and letting the dealer do warranty work. Just how most people are these days.

Want to hear hydraulic whine? You can hear these coming over half a mile away. Hauling butt too roading between fields.
