Kubota Loader Warranty Campaign

For those of you who have a Kubota Loader (LA513, LA723, LA853, LA1002-57C, LA1002-68C or LA1162-68C) I would suggest contacting your dealer so that they can see if your loader is part of a hose replacement program. This program only applies to specific serial number ranges so have the serial number handy when you call. We have sent letters out to our customers informing them but don't know if all the dealers were letting thier customer know. To read more about the warranty campaign click on the link below. I'll second JM III's appreciation. I have learned more about service bulletins and upgrades here on TBN than anywhere else. It seems that the Kubota policy on this is to wait until the owner complains, and then do the repair /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hmmm, what prompts you to say that? A manufacter often finds out about a problem from customers. My L48 had a bad hose, I called and the next day, Fedexed to me was the exact hose with an offer to pay to have it replaced. It was too simple to have the dealer do it so I did it myself and was happy for the prompt service.
Since all the loaders mentioned are quite new and since they are built in Georgia for Kubota, the response time for a warranty bulletin by Kubota seems quite normal. I have one of the mentioned loaders yet have not had the leakage from any of the fittings. I will probably go ahead and get them though. I will also install them myself, it's a very simple task.

Looks like I lucked out. The serial number on my loader is not one of the ones involved in the recall. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
