Kubota LA680 FEL - Won't Power Down

The controls for the bucket seem to work fine, with the exception of the power down. The float works fine. When I move the control to the down position, the movement is very-very slow. If I kill the engine and move the control to the same position, the bucket drops just fine. I am confused!

This idea is worth a try, and is quick.. Take off the Quick Disconnect Hydraulic connector on the FEL valve and put it back on. If unsure which hose is which, just do them all. Start with engine off and FEL down, and bucket flat, then operate joystick to all positions several times to relieve pressure on all ports. Remove all connectors and put them back, making sure that they are seated. Fire it up and try again. Might just fix it. Sometimes connectors don't seat correctly.

I have the same problems with my mf1635. the coupler spring appears weak , when I disconnected mine, I've found the check valve off to the side and not seating allowing the male coupler check ball to seal close when coupled, I suspect. To cure this on my plow I installed new male couplers which solved the problem with the plow, now FEL is locking up, so I'll end up changing these too.
