Front-End Loader Kubota la211 -- Dump/rollback quit while plowing snow

Hi, all..... I was happily plowing the first snow of the season and 15 minutes in, the dump/rollback function quit. The bucket is sort of midrange between the dump/ rollback extremes. The arms go up and down normally. When I try to dump/rollback, the hydraulic lines jump a little(like normal) so I think there is pressure to the cylinder. If I put the arms all the down and try the dump/rollback, it will work to the point that it will lift the front wheels off the ground. So.... when arms are down, the cylinder works. I checked the hydraulic dipstick and I have fluid.

Any ideas? Any suggestions as to what to try first? Many thanx...... We are currently mid-blizzard and I plowed my 1/4 mile driveway with a walk behind snowblower, but I don't want to do that too many times!

First, connect and disconnect the quick attach fittings.

Second, try the lift/lower hydraulic line on the curl/dump cylinder. That will show if the curl/dump cylinder is working properly.

Third, attach the curl/dump line to the lift/lower cylinders (if possible) to see if the line is the problem.

It is odd that, with the arms lowered, the curl and dump will function as expected.

The hydraulic pump on the BX small and really, only one hydraulic function at a time will work correctly. That is, 1) FEL curl/dump 2) FEL lift/lower 3) 3 point hitch.

Try doing these functions one at a time (to make sure the pump is not in relief) to check their operation. If you are using a blade on the 3 PH and raise it all the way it will disturb the operation of the FEL.
