Kubota LA 482 loader

Hi, I plan to buy a new loader and I thought you guys could be helpful on a few things I'm not sure about, first what is a good price to pay for the LA482 loader with standard bucket?
senond how hard are these things to install yourself? third what do you guys use you loaders for? I have some rocks piles to move, some dirt piles and a burn pile but after that I'm wondering what I'll use it for. I have 90 acres but lease 50 of it to a farmer.

There is no end to the uses you will find for a FEL. Do a search on FEL or Front End Loader and you will be reading for weeks on what uses people found for theirs.

I wouldn't be without one. I think of a FEL in the same terms as a pick up truck. I had no idea what I would use one for other than very occaisionally. Now I will always have one. The FEL is the same..believe me.

I bought my L3010 with HST, R4s, a Land Pride rotary mower and included the following:
$3456 for the LA482 loader
$650 for the L174 heavy duty bucket
I really like the HD bucket. It was about $200 more but will never be damaged by anything or any use that I will ever give it. I also use the FEL and bucket more than any other application.
Great tractor and the Kubota FEL is the perfect match.

I agree with you GarageSmoker. Wouldn't be without my pickup and my Front End Loader. Two very handy pieces of equipment.

I called the dealer today and was going to tell him I wanted the 60" HD bucket instead of the 66" standard but he said the HD bucket would be 315.00 more so I think I'll stick with the 66" standard. I hope to get tractor back tomorrow but they are wwaiting on the drain plugs for the rear axels because they got the head rounded off.

awesome you guys answered my question without having to ask it ,but I will exsplain myself anyway kubota 3010 looking for front loader yes the La482 so 30 h is going to run it fine?

you cant go wrong getting a fel.we have 3 tractors with fels on them.an the 4th tractor is loader ready.

Do you mean 30 hp? If so yes you will be fine, these tractors run out of traction using the loader before they run out of power. Like the others have mentioned once you have a fel it will be tough to be without it.
