Kubota L6060 Engine failure

In reply to crazyal, I was told in no uncertain terms that the the KTAC insurance, that I have, does not cover this type of mechanical failure. If you know different, please let me know how to file a successful claim. I was not offered nor am I aware of an extended warranty option through Kubota. If it were available I would have taken it out. My current problem with this tractor is just one of several that I have had. The previous repairs included a broken ram on the backhoe, several problems with the snow blower, over pressure to the backhoe resulting in blowing out all the O-rings on the controls, the quick-hitch is very easy to twist out of shape and the space between the 3-point hitch is inadequate and eats hydraulic hoses.

Not trying to run your tractor down but if I was using my tractor to earn a living and I had that much trouble out if it I would've been traded for something different.

KTAC doesn't cover mechanical breakdowns.

AK - Sorry to hear about your tractor. Most of us that buy Kubotas do so to avoid future reliability problems. We feel the added cost for a premium brand brings us reliability. I still do. But even the good machines breakdown.

But looking above at the list of issues you have had, maybe this tractor is simply not enough machine for you?

I recently had a somewhat similar experience with my Kubota L6060. However, in my case, there were obvious fuel problems. And I did not have to change the ECU. But it did take about 2 months to get it all diagnosed and repaired.

Water in fuel causes $10,000 damage to my Kubota Grand L6060
