Kubota L4740 Rear Main Seal

Ordering parts to replace the rear main seal, according to parts book there is a wear sleeve on crankshaft, if you did this repair,did you replace the wear sleeve. Also is it possible to split tractor without draining Super UDT, it doesn’t have many hrs on it!

You can always catch and reuse the fluid. Just keep it clean and handle carefully.

I have considered reusing fluid, just not worth the the problems it may cause. I was thinking if I could block of pump inlet fluid maybe able to stay in belly?

It depends on the tractor and how the lines are laid out. I've split a number of tractors without draining hydraulic fluid. If the pump is engine driven it's probably above oil level in the transmission. Removing the suction line at the pump will only drain the "local " fluid and you won't lose much oil at all. I try to plug and cap as many lines (steering, oil cooler, ETC) as possible to minimize drips, but with so many different styles and sizes of lines and fittings these days it' shard to keep enough different caps and plugs on hand. Quite often the suction line can be pulled sideways a bit and the two halves rolled apart leaving the line hanging there with losing any fluid. I usually just stuff a rag ib the opening, maybe tie it up with a length of wire if it looks like it might drop down and cause a problem. Done that many many times.
