Purchased a air filter for the L4740, it doesn't fit. I did alot of checking with a few Kubota dealers and very few (only one solved this problem) the L4740 tier III takes a special air filter, dealer cost is $80.00. Most Kubota dealers said there is only one filter for this tractor. Messick's parts dept,looked up the tractor by serial number and found the correct filter. I have a new in box filter for the L4740 Tier I or II, I'll sell to anyone for $20.00 shipped.
