- Kubota L4610 HSTC, International 2400, Hesston 1280,
Anyone know what this might be? L4610 HSTC
Our Kubota just started making a popping noise. First thought it might be loose lug nuts, but, don't think so.
It does not do it constantly.
The noise is fairly loud and it shakes the tractor.
My best description might be similar to a 1-1/2" tree limb wedged between rear axle, fender & rear tire, popping as it went across tire lugs.
Seems to do it more when backing up. Does it in all speed ranges. Changes with ground travel speed.
4 wheel drive or locked differential does not seem to make any difference.
Pops once maybe every 6" of travel.
We have held our hands on levers etc to try to determine where it is coming from, but don't feel it that way.
Thinking it must be coming through the drive train and wheels.
3300 hrs on tractor.
Any suggestions appreciated.
