Just bought a used L4330 2007 model. Seems to have quite a lot of vibration at about 1500-1800 RPMs. It's my first HST. Is this normal? Also own L2850 and M4700. If not, someone has suggested that there could be air in Hydro lines. I have the owners manual but I see no solution to removing air except to work the loader, which I have done....any thoughts....Thanks Larry

Doesn't seem normal to me. This is with nothing on the PTO, right? Any air in the hydraulics would likely make a lot of noise, but probably at all RPMs, and I don't see how air could cause vibration. What would you estimate the frequency of the vibe to be? Just order-of-magnitude, as in very high-pitched like engine speed or higher or very low like PTO or wheel speed?

No it's not normal, I had an L5030 and it was really smooth; unfortunately I don't have a clue. brain55 is a tractor mechanic with a long history on Kubotas, so if he doesn't show up, you might check with him, seems like a pretty helpful guy.

My Kubota mechanic came out and drove my tractor and suspects that the HST is showing a slight wear on the plates that the pump goes up against. That is the best way I can describe. He said he had rebuilt HST on small tractor that owners overworked hauling gravel up a big hill..as one example. Not bad enought to replace the transmission modules. He said I would probably never wear it enough to get it torn apart and repaired. At first he never felt the vibration, so that seemed to be better. I put a 6ft finish mower on it and used it to mow for the first time and never really noticed the vibration.
I'll update if anything changes.
Thanks Larry
