Kubota L4060 Hydraulic pressure boost

Has any one do this to there L4060 ajusted the pressure on there hydraulic system . Was just wondering i saw a boost kit on amazon but not not sure if it a good idear to use that .I guess it ajusted when you get it but do you need the extra pressure.

Normally more pressure = more breakage from my experience. especially with loaders and backhoes.

You can put a gauge on it and see what the pressure is. Then if it's below the manufacturer spec in the shop manual, turn it up.

Turning it up withing knowing what you set it to seems like a good way to damage parts.

Not sure whats entailed in the "kit"

To increase pressure on most kubotas is just shims under the relief spring. Usually thin washers like #10 machine washers work.

But dont do ANYTHING without a pressure gauge and knowing what your at currently, and what you will be at afterwords.

AS far as whether you "need" it or not.....probably not. The loader and 3PH is strong on that machine. I dont think there is an attachment made that you would use behind a 32PTO HP tractor that it wont lift. And the loader.....unless you have loaded tires and 1500# hanging off the 3PH......you aint gonna find the limits of what the loader will lift because the back of the tractor will raise in the air instead.

Yes it is pretty strong i have a HLa 2500 snow pusher 72 inch and it can lift that good even whit lot of snow in it .
I was just wondering what was that boost kit for .
I order a pressure gage ill check see what my pressure is .
