Thanks for the information. I still have not made a decision. I tried both and the Kubota feels like it is built better than the John Deere. I like the idea of getting a 6 ft. Box Blade with the John Deere.

Is it a good idea to get the fluid in the tires? I will be working in areas with alot of hills.

In my opinion, yes. I live in a very hilly area. I sat on both, when I got the L3400HST, I liked the way it sat better. You might consider a Kioti CK27 HST also about the same size as these two, if you have a Kioti dealer near by. Just an idea, I am not trying to complicate your life.
