Kubota L3600 Heater fan won't run

I have a 2000 Kubota L3600.

My heater and radio seem to be going in and out together. If I tap on the overhead cab sometimes it will come back on until I hit a bump and they will both turn off or cut out.

I pulled the cab roof and started looking for problems. It appears that the power supply to the harness that supplies the fan is only getting 10.25 volts. Im guessing this is why neither work. If I plug the harness directly to a power supply the fan fires up but not when plugged into the tractor harness (so the fan works). I am losing voltage somewhere and I can't find a source. The supply to the harness seems to run in the another large bundle of wires that I don't want to mess with.

Anyone ever have this issue before? is there a good place to find where I am losing voltage?

If I can't find an easy solution I might just run new power to the top of the cab from either the fuse box or all the way from the battery to get it up and running again.

Check all plug/socket connections between fan and power source (battery), you may have a loose or corroded connector.... Yes you have to chase the harness from fan all the way to switch and the fuse block ( also check for loose or corroded fuse) .... And any ground connections for or in cab...

You need an electrical schematic for the tractor and a DC volt/ohm meter. Start at one end of the circuit and determine where the power drops out or the incomplete ground is.

where do I get a electrical schematic for the tractor?

You will need to buy a workshop manual for your specific model. A Kubota dealer can for sure get one for you, an internet search may give results. Make sure what you find has info for cabbed tractors.

a bad connection between the fuse and fuse block could do this too, sometimes they corrode. check the voltage on the fuse connectors on both sides of the fuse(not the fuse itself)
