Manual for kubota L345 says transmission fluid should flow freely from check plug, but does not show where the plug is located. There is a small plug on left side below gear shift. Is the check plug?

On my L345 I've never have taken the plug out. There's also a dipstick - top of trans close to the front of the seat - has a rubber button handle. If tractor has been painted sometimes the dipstick is painted over too.

Thanks. I've checked the PTO dipstick located where you described, but the operators manual says that transmission fluid should flow out freely from the check plug. It shows the drain plugs, but not the check plug.
