KUBOTA L3301, WANT TO ADD 3RD FUNCTION VAVLE

I'M NEW TO ALL OF THIS, WOULD LIKE PROS AND CONS ON 3RD FUNCTION VAVLE FOR A 2016 KUBOTA L3301HST, WANT TO ADD A 3RD FUNCTION VAVLE FOR A GRAPLE FOR FRONT AND FOR REAR IMPLEMENTS. ANY INFO OR FEED BACK WOULD BE APPRECIATED, THERE ARE SEVERAL KITS OUT THERE.WHICH ONE WOULD WORK BEST, ? EDDIE

Third function is a great addition to any tractor;there are a couple vendors on this site that can sell you a "kit" or the factory kit installed is $800-$1000.I run hoses to the rear (from the front) to run rear implements.

The backhoe needs its own connection. Often it is a loop of hose with a set of quick connects in it, which is part of the hydraulic circuit. You disconnect the connects and hook them up to the BH to put it in the loop, otherwise the connects are connected together to complete the loop. Otherwise the hydraulic fluid has no where to go and the 3pt does not work.

The factory BH should come with the tractor side hose. If you're going to run a non factory BH that uses the tractor's hydraulics you'll need to make that part. It's not too difficult, especially with a common model like an L3301.

Ken’s Bolt On Hooks (who is on here) sold me a diverter kit which has been flawless.
I cut the two lines for the up down circuit cylinders, had new ends crimped on at my local O’Reilly parts store and inserted the diverter valve and used two off the shelf hoses to reach the quick attach grapple from Everything Attachments.
A push button on the joystick about where my thumb rests lets me control it by using the joystick forward back movement like up/down. Second nature movement.

I’m finishing up my 4 remotes on the rear with one valve that stays on all the time to for the backhoe on the thread also. But that’s was actually more of a want to do it than a need to have it.

I bought a new L3301 about a month ago. Dealer installed a Land Pride 3rd function valve and so far it works perfectly. They recommended over the Kubota 3rd function for some reason?? I do a lot of grapple work in my woodlot and use a AE wicked root grapple.

before I had a B2620 and used an X-tra diverter valve and this worked OK as well. 1/2 price solution just not as convenient and not a true 3rd function option.
