OK I have been quoted 25000. for a L3130 with loader and Hoe. Is a fair price or should O keep looking...... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I would say that depends on the loader and hoe your getting with it. If you talking a 9ft hoe and a large loader then its a good price to me.

I don't have my quotes anymore from back in February when I was looking - if that is for the heavier FEL and BH then it is a very fair price.

I'm going to defer to the "real" Bota guys /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif but for our area that sounds really decent - I know it's less than I was quoted for the L3130 with the heavier FEL and bucket, and the larger (9') BH. Did you go to Midstate for that quote?

Yea I also bought my JD 790 from them. They have treated me right all the way around so I am going back. Last fall... I got quotes from 4 Kubota dealers 3 in CT... 1 in VT...

I bought from the VT dealer 12/03... saved a few thousand...
A friend of mine in Mass. bought from the same VT dealer after he priced things around...


All new equipment...
Gear drive L3130 DT 4WD...
LA723 loader w/ quick attach and HD cutting edge options...
BH90 backhoe w/ 18" bucket...
Curtis soft-sided cab w/ heater... fan... horn... 6-switch box... 2 accessory outlets... 4 exterior halogen lights...
3 hooks welded on loader bucket... 1 hook on backhoe bucket...
2 welded on tire air valve protectors...
R4 tires...


Recall total was $27,000-$28,000... think the cab and it's add-ons were ~$2,500...
They'll deliver to CT too for a fee... I picked mine up there...

Prices may have gone up since then...

Write up a fully-detailed quote sheet and give it to the dealers you're interested in...


You can email me for the VT dealer's name & number if you like... but I won't have computer access after 4:45pm today... for over a week...

Here are some numbers for comparison that I received in late March or early April.

L3130 GST with R4's $13850 (add $400 for HST)

LA723, HD bucket, cutting edge, tooth bar. $4800

BH90 backhoe, pads, bucket (your choice of size), $7300


14250 + 4800 + 7300 = 26350


26350 - ~250 (hoe street pads) - ~500 (tooth bar & cutting edge) = 25600


Hmmm, better get that SOLD sign quick!!
