My Kubota axle was very simple to disassemble, it should be nearly self-explanatory. Remove the 4 bolts and take the whole thing off and work on it off the tractor.
The seals do not blow, since there is no pressure in the axle, they just leak. Once you have it apart, I would replace ALL seals as well as the metal/rubber plug on the bottom. The plug wears and falls out at some point and it will quickly dump all your fluid.
Depending on the # of hours and what you see, you might also do all the bearings. The Kubota bearing prices are not bad, or you can find a local bearing supplier and purchase some quality US/Japanese replacements. At least in the 90s, these bearings were regular brand-name bearings and have the # on them so they're easy to cross-reference.
If it's the "pivot" seal, I believe that portion as well as the wheel hub requires a press to remove and reinstall.
I recommend reassembling with some Permatex Black or similar sealant, which will help minimize future issues.
