Last time I checked my coolant level(I do every 4hrs or so), I apparently didn't get the radiator cap down tight. You guessed it, in the middle of no where I hit a bump and the cap flew off never to be seen again.
After a comedy of errors(including 2 weeks of shipping and one wrong part), I finally got my replacement Kubota $25 radiator cap.
The day after I got it, I was checking the coolant in my '97 Toyota camry. Cap on the camry looked awfully familiar. It looks exactly like the kubota cap; right down to the embossed stampings and Japanese characters. I checked at local Napa and a replacement camry radiator cap was 9.95(in stock). Ouch!
