Kubota L2900 turf tires to industrial R4 tires?

I have a L2900 that has 212/80-D15 front and 355/80-D20 rear. I'm looking to replace with R4 comparable tires. Looks like I can go with 28/8.50-15 Titan for the front, maybe? And I'm not sure what about the rear?

Was going to replace my dry rotted turfs with more aggressive treads when a guy on craiglist had two like new front turfs and two lightly used rear turfs for $150.00. Couldn't pass on that deal.

That may end up being what I have to do...I found a R4 size that will replace the front but not the rear. I contacted Kubota for replacement rims and tires, taxes and shipping right at $2,500.00, which makes my "good deal" on my tractor not such a good deal.

I don't know if this helps but in seeking a softer ride I replaced my 12x16.5 OEM 6 ply R4s with 33x12.5x16.5, 4 ply (but still had the stiff sidewall to my demise, after receiving them....UGH) Titan brand turfs.

Difference in ride was about the same as was traction. I really thought I was going to get some improvement in ride quality going to 4 ply turfs....as it is, I puked 500 bucks. Traction with the R4 sucked in the first place so I wasn't worried about turf traction being worse when considering and it turned out to be without incident....I couldn't tell the difference.

To save a hefty shipping charge and to get a dealer discount, I went to my local Titan tire dealer and he ordered, received, and installed them. I had to wait about a week for his next truck, but for a hundred bucks of freight cost savings, I could stand that. Google the tire I got for $260 (which is bad enough) and the SRP will gag you. Titan was the only supplier of a turf for my 16.5 wheels to match the diameter of 33" since the tractor is 4wd.

There is a company that makes an R4 tread tire to replace the 20" turf. The guy I bought the turfs from had replaced them with R4s. For the life of me I can't remember the brand. He had ordered them from a local tire shop in Bardstown KY.

I wish u could remember their name. I called around and spoke to several tractor tire dealers all over and was told there is not a direct R4 replacement for the 20 tire. I知 leaning towards putting R4s on front as they have a replacement for that and putting new 20 turf on rear.
I値l search shops in Bardstown and see if I can find them. Thanks

If I remember there was not a 355/80-20 replacement. I was going to have to go to a different aspect ratio which would give me a slightly wider tire but still keep close to the otiginal diameter of 42.4"
