1998 Kubota L2900 DT, 4wd, FEL, manual gearbox, 643 hours (really)
Steers weakly to left. Does NOT steer to right. FEL and 3 point hitch work
No leak in front by Pittman arm. No leak from hoses going through engine bay.
Leaking in "general area" under steering control box and hyd pump.
With engine OFF, can turn wheel to right and hear fluid moving or squirting. Crawl back under and fluid is dripping in area of split.
Found a rats nest under steering column and cleaned it out using inspection cover on left side. Not leaking at connections to control box. Don't think its leaking at pump. Somewhere between, but very tight area. I'm guessing the dirty rat gnawed a hole in a hose that I can't reach.
I think the pump has two stages, one for loader and 3-point, and other for steering. Does anyone know which hose makes it steer to right. Can this hose be removed without removing the deck? My hand just barely fits. Don't think I can get a wrench on it. Hoping someone knows some tractor repair tricks.
I appreciate any help you can offer. The weeds are gettin high. So is my neighbor.
