I recently replace the dual clutch in the L275. To do this I had to remove the BF400 loader and disconnected the hydraulics as instructed. Fluids and filters were replace. I did not put the loader back on but was using a box drag on the 3 point for about a half hour when the hydraulics failed. No leaks. Any ideas?

Fixed (I think) it by putting the loader back on. Still don't understand why it worked for a while with the loader off and disconnected.

The tractor outlets for the loader should have been connected together to complete a path for fluid flow. Should be a short jumper hose

If they were QD's one of them might not have been seated correctly.
