Kubota L 3010

I have a older Kubota L 3010........................always ran well no issues. 2000 hours. For the past month when I start it, and let the key flex back......it sometimes just dies. If I touch the key a little it will keep running.......or if I help the key flex back slowly it will run and all is OK. problem only occurs during starting..............

now the other day........... I started it, ran it 100 feet and it shut off..............seems to be fuel in bowl is half full, like the tank pump is not sending fuel ?????

Is it a electrical short from the ignition to the tank pump ???????????? or a mouse ate a wire up ?????????

You already Know it has a bad key switch...
and inspect the wiring and connectors at that switch. Problems like that will never get better on their own, only worse, so fix that problem and you should be okay.

Ya, fix the ignition switch issue first. Then worry about fuel if its still a problem.

Do you even have a lift pump? My L3200 is gravity fed down to the filter & injector pump, I'm pretty sure.

Gee I think it is the switch. I did a parts search for a tank pump and it shows one ???? I think as you do it is gravity fed.

You have a 12 volt solenoid fuel shut off valve near the injection pump. The valve is normally open. When you turn off the key or loose 12V because of a bad switch a timer kicks in which closes the fuel valve and shuts down the tractor. After the timer expires ( and the tractor has stopped ) the valve opens back up.
