Oil & Fuel Kubota L-285

I have an L-285 with a problem that I need help in answering.

Oil & Diesel Fuel mix in the crank case.

It ran fine the last time I was on it. My brother-in-law went to start it when the problems began. It started coming out the overflow in the valve cover. Removed the dip stick to check the oil level and it came flowing out. He said it looked like a mixture of diesel fuel and motor oil.

My guess would be that you have injector issues or possibly an injector pump issue. Diesel fuel in the oil is usually a prime symptom of this. How many hours on your tractor?

I have a L-285 that I have owned for the last 12 years and it has been rock solid as far as reliability goes requiring only routine maintenance - a L285 is a basic no frills tractor, but keeping it simple usually means less than to break in my opinion.
