Kubota B3300SU
Used my B3300su to move some snow today. 2010 with 310 hours. Paid 31k for this joke. Have replaced 3 cylinders in last 2 years, and a loader valve in
September to the tune of $1200 bucks. Today halfway through the job, loader won't go up and down anymore. Goes up slow, goes down. Pull easy on
lever, goes up normal, til halfway point, then stops. Up and down a few times, does different things each time, slow, then won't go up at all, then normal Drop down, now it won't go up at all...... Seems like the loader valve again, but don't know. Fluid is full, and clean..... Soooo disgusted. If I have to pay for
another loader valve, I will burn this pos in my driveway. Put in your requests for parts now. Rant over.

Check the quick connects on the loader hyd lines? Uncouple and re-couple each one.

I am the last one to stick up for stuff just because I own it, but I find this not in keeping with the typical "Japanese" Kubota quality. The natural question would be, wht does the dealer say about all this? OR the local Kubota rep?

As far as rants go. I think more people need to stop being so #$@& polite and rant about all manner of things. It's the only way things can ever change!

Is relief valve popping when it stops moving properly?

Is that 3 hydraulic cylinders and the loader valve?

Interesting.... I've got 2012 model with 280 hrs and am very happy with it. The diff lock is all but impossible to activate but not a single hiccup from the hydraulics.

There's got to be something else wrong to have to have replaced that many parts. What happened to each different component to cause their replacement?

How cold was it, and what brand name hydraulic fluid are you using? A good place to start is check as previously mention the quick connects.

I'm curious why the cylinders were replaced and not rebuilt? Were they damaged beyond repair? In the 27 years I've been working on Kubotas and other CUT's I can still count on one hand the number of loader valves that have needed to be replaced. Have you had the dealer or other professional shop look at this machine, or are you just buying parts hoping to fix whatever problems you seem to be having? It would be nice to have more information on why these things had been replaced.

I am no hydraulics expert but my first impression is that your hydraulic system is contaminated. You have changed several major components and the initial problem could have been as minor as o - ring problem. These rubber component's when they get cut up into little tiny pieces like to float around in the system and when they float around here and there the problem floats around also. The metallic components tend to bottom out and collect near the strainer and or into the filter. The rubber component's o - rings, glid rings, seals etc. are easily disturbed and move around in the system. The Teflon / pipe joint needs to be just behind that first thread, nothing over.Just some thoughts. Later

I agree with oldtimer66. When I bought my BX2200 used (1170hrs.) the FEL worked fine when I tested it. After I got home with it and put it to work the FEL would work intermittently. Very slow going up and dump. Would float down fine. Then it would work fine for awhile.

I found the problem was the original owner did not change the hyd. fluid as recommended. I had to flush the system three times to get the gunk out and has been working fine for three years now.

The gunk was plugging up the spindles in the control valve.

I should have said " just behind the start of the first thread". One other thought is a air nozzle can be your best friend and or your worst enemy. I vigorously clean even new component's, hoses , cylinders etc. with air right before assembly. Just another thought. Later.

What? Someone is saying Kubota is junk? That's a first on here!

Bing187, the OP, joined in 2010 yet has only posted 41 times since and has not yet come back with any more info since starting this thread.

I'm hoping he returns and gives us more information regarding the several issues he has had and status/resolution of his most recent issue.

I do find it extremely unusual that he has replaced hydraulic cylinders three times, a loader valve and yet again is having hydraulic issues. There must be some common thread to these five issues in a system which is highly reliable, particularly with only 310 hrs on the tractor.

It would be a service to the TBN community to let us know additional details and how the recent issue is resolved. I understand the OP is frustrated.

If you read his past posts you will find the cylinders were on his Backhoe.

At least one of them (dipstick cyl) was and it sounds like the valve that was replaced was the BH valve under warranty. So does that mean that both the loader and BH valves have been replaced? No reports on what the other 2 reported cyl are. How you manage to bend the dipstick cyl when it is mounted on the top of the boom is beyond me.

Something is just not adding up. No way there would be that many defective components on the same machine.

I'm wondering if it's just been beat to death.

CDN Farm Boy. Bending the dipstick cyl. is easy. I watched a guy hook the bucket on a large buried rock then when the cyl. could not move the rock he backed up and tried to force the rock out. After the third ram backwards the rod bent. Anything is possible.

Fair enough. I suppose with Abuse and complete disrespect for the machine anything is possible. I hadn't included the 'stupidity factor' as an option. Can't blame that on the machine though

For what the complaint is now it goes to hydraulic ends not a valve. I've got all kinds of operators on Kubota's and we find different kinds of little adjustments are needed from time to time. Sometimes to the tractors, sometimes for the operators.
