No, you don't have to get Kubota insurance. But you do have to get insurance.

If other dealers say your homeowners policy will cover your tractor, then they must have a copy of your policy?

Not all...and I'll repeat that..."NOT ALL" homeowners policies are the same. Some will, some won't, some do and some don't.

I switched from State Farm to Farm Bureau Coop insurance because State Farm and the other big national names I called either had NO coverage or wanted me to pay $600 or more a year for a commercial policy to cover tractors and liability when used off of my property.

Whatever you do, if you take your tractor off your property, make sure you at least have liability coverage for that. It only takes a split second for someone to get hurt when tractors are involved.

It is best if you can get your insurance through your own provider. Once you have your contract paid you'll have to get the coverage insurance anyway.

Excellent point, Guess you might as well get a jump on things and get your own insurance from the start, rather than having to change when the tractor pays off.
