I recently bought a kubota b7100 hst d old style 1981 it has a k 80 fel on it and it also came with a frame mounted backhoe i took off the hoe and i want to put a backblade on it. my question is how do i make the fel and the blade work at the same time the fel is hooked up to the directional valve below seat. this tractor has a hydraulic block by the fuel filter that has something to do with power beyond. i hope someone knows

Do you mean that the 3pt will not work when the backhoe is off?

Was the backhoe connected to the tractor hydraulics using 2 quick disconnects?

If the answer to both questions is yes then try running a jumper hose between the 2 quick disconnects. This will usually complete the circuit to the 3pt.

If the answer to either question is no then we need additional information regarding the existing plumbing.

the backhue was powered by a pump on the pto.the loader is currently hosed in to the directional valve for the 3 pt hitch the book says that to run aux. hydraulics you have to use the hyd block and power beyond.if you want to simultoneously use the 3 pt hitch and aux. hyd.

I can post the pag out of the manual if it would help but you would have to explain how to do it

Ok, I think I understand what you want. You want aux hydraulics (rear remotes) that will work along with the FEL and 3pt. Right? The backhoe should have nothing to do with your desires since it is PTO driven and not tractor hydraulic driven.

The 3pt should work when the FEL is connected once the backhoe is removed and any/all 3pt restraining devices or other manual locks have been removed.

On later model Kubotas (and probably your 7100) the loader is connected to a hydraulic block which is simply a tap into the hydraulic circuit. Some models have an additional hydraulic block which is used to connect a rear remote valve. On models without a second hydraulic block, the rear remote valve is connected between the loader valve and the loader hydraulic block.

If you can't post the hydraulic schematic, just follow the 3 loader hoses that don't go to the lift/curl cylinders. One should go directly into the transmission tank/sump and the other 2 should connect into a hydraulic outlet block.

the loader is currently hooked up to a valve that diverts oil either to the loader or to the three pt. hitchwhat i think i have to do is hook the loader up to the hyd. block my loader controll valve has only two hoses one pressure hose coming off the directional controllvalve and the other hose is teed into theoil fill cap witch i am assuming is a return line what im concerned about is the bbook says that i need to use a valve that is a power beyond type i am not sure what that is i have a background in industrial hydraulics but not on tractors.

i am wondering if someone had a manual on a k80 loader it might show how to hook it up correctly

K80 loader ser#80387 I think this is a Kubota loader but im not even sure of that

Based on your description, you need a loader valve that has power beyond. It will have 3 ports, one for high pressure inlet from the hydraulic block, one that is power beyond out to the 3pt (usually connects back to the hydraulic block), and one return to tank outlet.

Your loader and its valve are probably not standard Kubota products but I could be wrong on that. It is definitely not plumbed correctly. Most tractors, including yours, are open center systems whose valves (except for the 3pt) have power beyond capabilities. A simple series circuit loop.

You really need to get yourself a manual for the B7100. I believe TractorSmart.com can help you with this as they also have free downloadable parts manuals. Or your local dealer probably can get you one.

I have a manual for my tractor but it dosent show anything about the loader or how to hook anything up to the hyd. block

The loader manual is separate from the main tractor manual.

The b7100 only has one way hydraulics. I have a snow blade for one of mine. I have to turn the valve under the seat one way for the front blade. then the other for the rear. My newer one does not have the valve and I don't know if both will work at the same time on it. I can't help you on power beyond block other than there is a block in the line in front of brake peddle.

I also have a 7100HST. Althought I can't help you with your problem, maybe you could help me with mine. I plan to make my gas wood splitter a 3 point hitch splitter that runs off of the tractor hydraulics. The manual shows the directional control valve and state the return line should hook into the case front cover, with plug removed.
Could you tell me where the case front cover is???
Also, how well does your back hoe attachment work??? I am interested in one if they are worth the time and money.
Thanks
Mark

the backhoe works fine i havent used it much i just bought the tractor a month ago i.m in the process of rebuilding the cylenders an d replacing the hoses i hate leaks.

The repair manual (m 3-6) Hyd power can easily taken off via the grip attached to the cyl cap.
(m 4-1) When hyd power with a control valve and 3pt linkage and other power is requiered simuitaneously power can be taken off integrated block in the delivery pipe.
It has a print that looks like you have to drill the cover block.

Hope this helps

I also have a 7100HST..... The manual shows the directional control valve and state the return line should hook into the case front cover, with plug removed.
Could you tell me where the case front cover is???

Is this the fill plug? I read in another thread somewhere about some fitting that goes here to connect the return line, that the plug then screws into.

Can anyone tell me where to get this fitting? Kubota part number? Is it just some normal fitting?

Thanks,
Jay
