It looks like Kubota is offering some interesting options in material collection in other countries!

I wonder if those attachments are made in the same country where they are sold? Like the FELs, MMMs and BHs, etc. that are made in the USA for sale here. Since I couldn't buy one of those from Kubota I made my own. Just need to add hydraulic dump so I don't have to get off the tractor.

Sorry, I made a mistake, there was an add that appeared with your name on it. A ROPS company. Please forgive the post. I do not know how this happens

Those grass collectors are for the EU market, most of them are made in the USA and shipped there for sale. Yes, some things are actually still made here and exported!

Toolguy - Is the vacuum PTO driven or do you have a separate engine?

It is engine driven. PTO would be nice but since I already had the engine drive unit it didn't cost much to convert it from pull type to 3PTH.

In reference to Messick's post about items made in the USA and sold overseas, I bet they could sell them here if they were offered to US customers. I wonder why they don't do that?

I'm guessing of course...but I suspect the reason has to do with US safety regs. Most likely the lack of rear visibility. My "3-bagger" came with ROPS brackets and a wiring harness to relocate the rear lights to where they would be visible from the rear. I didn't relocate the lights, since my bagger is only used for fall leaf pickup (would rather have had the EU model). Instead, the brackets are working out quite nicely for the auxiliary lighting I'm in the process of installing...:)

I don't know why they don't sell them here. Certian things like the Rear Shoot GR's that discharge under the seat are really, really cool.

The EU models also have a deep dish type steering wheel on the BX's which extends the steering wheel 2" to 3" back further towards the operator than the N. American versions.
That along w/the new BX seats would improve the ride on a BX to rival that of any premium tractor......

You'd think Kubota's largest market would get all the neat options......

JD had a nice dump version bagger back when I had a green garden tractor. I would've bought Kubota's EU model in a heartbeat. Emptying bags takes a lot of time when you're doing leaves. Next fall I'll try Gator blades to see if they will chop the leaves finer...the standard blades just blow the leaves into the bags.

Maybe as their "largest market," Kubota's afraid there won't be enough room if the steering wheel is 2 - 3 inches closer...:D
