I can be in the "bigger is better" camp on many issues but not necessarily tractors and implements.
I work mostly in the woods, so maneuverability is high in my priorities.
As you go up in tractor and loader size the places you can "get to" are reduced by about the square of tractor size.
A heavier frame tractor is great but a dimensionally larger tractor can be a hindrance.
How much area are you working? Will you be driving over turf? What implements will you use most?
Agree generally and we looked at all the GL models. We were lucky to find a lot one Sunday with a good cross section and went from one to the other without being bothered by a salesman. We have plenty of woods and there wasn't enough size difference from one to the other to make a real difference. The difference we saw and we originally started looking at a B3200 was in going between B, L, and M and not so much within a series.
I do agree with the oft mentioned "bigger isn't always better, sometimes bigger is just bigger", but from what we saw there wasn't enough size difference to matter. Now we can use our L where we can't get our M, but that is quite a bit difference in size.
