... Anybody disable or jumper past theirs?

I ask because I took a quick look yesterday & see two different wire pairs.

One pair goes to a switch mounted under the right edge of the seat, sort of below the seat belt bar. The switch is depressed when the seat is down.

The other wire pair goes inside the bottom of the seat, which I suspect from reading about other Kubota models' seats, is where a switch inside the seat is located.

I mowed with my dad's Mahindra 4110 (no seat switch of any kind) this weekend & really enjoyed being able to jump off the tractor or stand up without it cutting off.

So ... Do I need to jumper both pairs of wires?

Take this fwiw because we have different models but...

On my B the tilt switch at the front edge of the seat is NOT depressed when the seat is down, only when it is up. Take a closer look or put an ohmmeter across it to confirm. You would not want to jumper this switch or the tractor will think the seat is up all the time, and won't start.

The seat bottom switch is the one to go after.

Also, standing up off the seat shouldn't cause the engine to quit unless you have a PTO engaged or the HST pedal pressed forward or backward. Or maybe this is another model difference... (?)

One switch detects when the seat is up and disables the other switch. To stand up while operating, just flip the seat up. You pretty much have to do that to give your knees room anyway. If you flip the seat up when you leave the tractor, everything will continue to run, including PTO implements.
