KUBOTA GR 2000 WILL NOT TURN OFF WITH KEY/SAFETY SWITCH/FLASHER NOT WORKING

I own a 07 Kubota GR2000 Diesel mower. It quit suddenly while mowing, but restarted immediately. However the "clicking" noise associated with turning the ignition switch on was not heard before the start and the head lights and safety switch/flasher did not operate. I have good mechanical skills and some good skills with a muliti-tester, but do not know where to start. I think it is electrical in nature but I don't have a schematic to trouble shoot. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
